The day trip to Moremi is the quickest way to catch a glimpse of what this remarkable reserve has to offer when you do not have enough time to spend the night. Departing from Maun in a safari vehicle, we will head out to access the renowned Moremi Game Reserve for some great game viewing.
On arrival at the reserve gate, while the guide takes care of the park fees formalities we will then set off on our journey of exploring the splendid Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi is home to one of the world’s great wildlife species making the area spectacular for game viewing and bird watching, including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region, and over 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered.
Both Black and White Rhino, while rare to spot, have recently been re-introduced, now making the reserve a ‘Big Five’ destination.
We will break off for a light lunch and make some rounds in search of some animals, passing through lagoons and pools along the river channels as well as flat plains. We will then make our way back late afternoon as we reflect on our sightings
