The day trip to Moremi is the quickest way to catch what the reserve has to offer when you do not have enough time to spend the night.

Departing from Maun at the crack of dawn on-board a safari vehicle, we will head out to access the renowned Moremi Game Reserve for some great game viewing. On arrival at the reserve gate we will setup a light breakfast of tea and rusks while the guide takes care of the park fees formalities. On completion we will then set off on our journey of exploring the splendid Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi is home to one of the world’s great wildlife species making the area spectacular for game viewing and bird watching, including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region, and over 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered.

Both Black and White Rhino, while rare to spot, have recently been re-introduced, now making the reserve a ‘Big Five’ destination.

We will break off for a light lunch and make some rounds in search of some animals, passing through lagoons and pools along the river channels as well as flat plains. We will then make our way back late afternoon as we reflect on our sightings.

1. Xaa Safaris (Pty) Ltd shall guarantee the availability of the trip upon receipt of deposit. A deposit of 50% needs to be paid as soon as possible to reserve the booking.
2. Cancellation of the SAFARI, ACCOMMODATION or EXCURSIONS is to be in writing and is only effective on receipt of such notification. Refunds will be paid as per the schedule below.
3. Cancellation more than 60 days before departure, the 20% deposit is forfeited any other monies paid are refunded to the client (less bank charges).
4. Cancellation more than 31 days before departure 50% of the full fee may be refunded to the client (less bank charges),
5. Cancellation more than 15 days before departure 25% of the full fee may be refunded to the client (less bank charges),
6. Cancellation within 14 days before departure – 100% of fees will be payable with no refund.
7. Note that Travel Insurance is mandatory when booking your safari, your travel insurance should cover any of the costs incurred above should the cancellation be for a valid medical or emergency reason.
